Magali Gorre Dishes On Her Friendship With Dawn Ward

During last week's episode of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, we saw Magali Gorre and Dawn Ward finally bonding on a trip to Peckforton Castle after many weeks of feuding. Magali says they're now in a better place but she would hesitate to call Dawn a friend.

“I’m very picky with calling people friends,” Magali tells the Manchester Evening News.

“I have high expectations from a friend. Working with somebody or socializing with people is different. She kisses everybody on the lips, I don’t.”

She continues: “My real group from Cheshire aren’t really this group but we are getting to know each other a bit better.”

“The world is a big place but we all have to live on it, so why not be a bit nicer? It should be a sort of respect and I hope that I show that on the series.”

While her co-stars all seem eager to sign up for a second series if one is commissioned, Magali is more reticent.

“I don’t know at the moment,” says Gorre. “We’ll see if I survived all the series.

“It’s not easy to do this. You should be a certain person that can do this. But I’m very proud that they chose me because at the end of the day they could choose many women.”

“We’re all different and I’m from a different background. Yes, I’m a football mum now and a manager’s wife but I’m a Dutch woman, a woman of colour, representing Cheshire and I feel very honoured.”
