In a recent interview with Beamly UK, the Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Magali Gorré and Tanya Bardsley reveal their beauty secrets, their love of vampire facials and on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle, check it out below!
Hi ladies! You’re both looking very glamorous today…
Tanya & Magali: Thank you…
Speaking of which… how long do you both spend on beautifying yourselves?
M: “You have one skin so you have to look after it. It’s not like a coat you can buy every year. You must cream your body with Nivea or oils.”
T: “Or you can always use a chemical peel.”
So, what’s your must-have beauty product?
T: “Does Botox count?”
M: “Mascara.”
T: “I can’t whittle it down to one, I’d need a whole bag.”
You make a lot of effort to ensure you stay looking good…
M: “This is normal to me, it’s like brushing your teeth. We go to the hairdresser, we have to do our eyebrows and do our nails. I usually do my nails every week, but now with filming I do it three times because I’m a movie star.”
T: “I do loads, including a microdermabrasion which is the use of crystals that exfoliate the skin. You don’t need to because you’re young.”
M: “We hate you by the way!” (laughs)
T: “I also get put in this suit – it goes really tight, then it goes loose … it gets nearer to your chest and you end up going, ‘I can’t breathe!’
“It manages to get rid of your toxins. I asked what happens to your toxins and the lady said: ‘Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon.’
“Then I was in Zara and all I heard was ‘brrrr’ – I’d farted. I was on the third floor, I had to go all the way down the escalators and the nearest toilet was Marks & Spencers.
“I disposed of half a stone of toxins in Marks & Spencers’ toilets. When I walked out I said: ‘You don’t want to go in there…'”
T: “It was awful. It worked, but next time I won’t plan a shopping trip straight afterwards. I also do vampire facials.”
What’s that?
M: “She does very strange things. You have to watch the show…we do this in the show too.”
T: “Vampire facials? These are when you take the blood out of your own arm and it whips it around in this tube. The blood separates and they separate this from the plasma – then put that back into your face.”
What does it do?
T: “F*** all!”
M: “Sometimes to look good it’s painful.”
How many times have you done those?
T: “I’ve had two.”
M: “She likes pain. I don’t know why she wants to do that, but it’s another slice of Cheshire…”
