Janet Roach: Being A Reality Star Is A Full-Time Job

In a recent interview, Janet Roach from The Real Housewives of Melbourne reveals she's looking for a personal assistant to help her balance her busy schedule, says being a reality star is a full-time gig.

The successful property developer reveals she posted an advert on a jobs website to search for the perfect PA.

The ad, which did not give her name but said a reality TV star was looking for a personal assistant to help her manage her social media profile and organize her life, received a huge response.

“I had 84 people apply on the first day,” she told the Herald Sun.

“I was overwhelmed by the response. I am going to begin interviews next week.

Janet reveals she was not prepared for the negative backlash during the first season of RHOMelbourne, especially on social media, but reveals she's ready for it this time around.

“The social media last year was a bit of a shock. It got pretty nasty. We were all newbies back then so we didn’t know what to expect.

“This time I will need someone to help me, said Roach. “And they’ll be expected to sign a confidentiality agreement, of course.”

Janet recently launched her own charity, the Roach Foundation to assist burns victims with their recovery — her son was badly injured in a house fire — leaving her even more time poor, she said.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne Season 2 premieres, Sunday, February 22 at 8:30pm on Foxtel's Arena!
