Andy Cohen Calls Out The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Cast On Using The Phrase “My Gays”

On Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen called out The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast for referring to their gay friends as “my gays,” after Kyle Richards threw a gay singles mixer.

Cohen said, “Even though some of your friends might be gay, which is great, they are not yours. You do not own them. We are not cattle. We are not purses.”

He added, “I will say we are good at reading, so consider yourselves read. I love you.”

Lisa Vanderpump tweeted support for Andy message and Lisa Rinna admitted she had been “read” by Cohen and Kyle Richards explained why she used the "my gays" expression.

“Totally agree @Andy “my gays” “my pets” same difference,” Vanderpump wrote.

“@Andy I have been read. I hear you Big Daddy,” Rinnna wrote.

“I actually got that expression FROM my gay friends whom I have the utmost respect for. Certainly meant no disrespect,” Richards wrote.
