But NeNe first got Michael to confess about his dating status. "Yes, NeNe I'm single. I knew where you were going," Strahan confesses to the Real Housewives of Atlanta star.
Strahan split from his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Murphy (Hollywood Exes), earlier this year.
"You know... I'm taking my time. I was in a long relationship."
NeNe then shared what advice she tells her son, hoping that Michael might learn something. "You should date a lot," she says. "That does not mean sleep a lot, dating. Go to the movies, go to the gym with somebody. Do all that and then find the one that's the one. But you got to date around to find the one."
Michael's thoughts? "Chase is good," he said. "I don't want one of the L.A. police chases that last forever. Chase is good a little chase never hurt anybody."
NeNe's solution? "You can teach them... But still, it takes time."
In addition to love, NeNe also revealed her thoughts about New York City. She is currently living in the Big Apple as she stars in Broadway's Cinderella. The show wraps up in January but has the Atlanta star enjoyed living in NYC during her tenure? "Not yet," she shared. "I live in the city. No, I'm not living in the city."
