A friend of the 32-year-old said to The Sun: "Ampika was really upset about the break-in but sadly that's the world we live in. "She's spoken to the police and her security has been reviewed and increased.
"The salon was back open the following afternoon. "Ampika is a strong woman and won't let something like this stop her."
The other women included in the show are all said to have improved the security on their homes.
Ampika set up her salon after getting divorced from businessman Mark Pickston.
