The Real Housewives of Cheshire is just one week away from it's grand debut on ITVBe - In a recent interview, Dawn Ward, Leanne Brown and Tanya Bardsley opened up about the upcoming season and promised lots of drama, tears, fights and laughter. Check it out below!
Leanne: "There have been lots of ups and downs but what sets us apart from other reality shows I've watched is the northern humour. It's really watchable, Brown tells Manchester Evening News. "It's been great fun doing it, we've just laughed out loud."
Co-star Dawn adds: "It is hilarious and what you're going to see is real women who, regardless of the trimmings and the nice houses are down-to-earth girls. There's nothing scripted."
Tanya amusingly admits: "There is all sorts: drama, fun, fights, laughter, crying - and I am the ugliest crier ever because I've got Botox and I can't really do it properly."
The ladies are already familiar faces on the Cheshire and Manchester social scene but the show will catapult them to a whole new level of fame.
But they're not fazed by the idea of becoming household names as the cast of shows like TOWIE have - nor by any criticism they may face along the way.
Their co-star Lauren Simon has already come in for some criticism after she was seen saying in the TV advert: "You don't choose to go and live in Bolton."
But Tanya says: "We've just learned to let it be water off a duck's back. Whether you're on TV or not, people are going to judge you.
"Some people are going to love you, some people are going to hate you, all that matters is we all know who we are and what we're about."
The Real Housewives of Cheshire will follow the real lives of six wealthy WAGs and businesswomen, the cast includes Leanne Brown, wife of ex-United footballer Wes Brown; Dawn Ward, property developer and wife of ex-footballer Ashley Ward; Tanya Bardsley, wife of Stoke City player Phil Bardsley; Lauren Simon, married to businessman and Magali Gorre, wife of ex-footballer Dean Gorre.
Filming has been taking place at glitzy social events across Manchester and Cheshire for the show in recent months, including an art exhibition launch for Lincoln Townley, husband of Denise Welch; a charity designer clothes sale held at Mottram Hall; the Creme Ball, hosted in the grounds of Dawn's palatial mansion near Alderley Edge; and at the book launch of life coach Tanya, held at the Milton Club on Deansgate.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire premieres on Monday, January 12 at 10pm on ITVBe!
