Todd Tucker’s Mother Miss Sharon Has Passed Away

We are sad to report that Todd Tucker's mother, Miss Sharon, passed way On Tuesday in New York City. She passed away after suffering from a stroke, the Dish confirms. Todd took to Instagram to confirm the news.

"Today I lost my partner, my ride or die, my best friend!" he wrote. "I don't know what to do? I'm lost! My heart hurts so much! She was a fighter, a warrior for her son! It was me and her against the world! She's in a better place!! Mom I love you to death! Rest in peace!"

Kandi also spoke out about her mother-in-law and remembered Miss Sharon's "fun, energetic, loving & caring spirit."

"I loved how she liked to get up & go all the time," she shared on Instagram. "She would get you in check one minute & give you a hug the next minute. She still had a young spirit. It's unbelievable that she's gone. I'm so sad for [Todd] because they were so close... He talked to her every morning & all thru out the day, every day. It's hard losing people that you love but when it's out of the blue with no warning it just makes it that much harder.... I'm still in shock."

The Daily Mail reports that Todd was in Atlanta when he received a call notifying him that his mother had fallen ill in New York, according to the insider. Sources say that a when a friend discovered Miss Sharon had fallen in, she was rushed to a hospital, where she died the following day.

Sharon was reportedly unconscious after suffering a stroke when Tucker arrived in New York. She then slipped into a coma overnight before passing away on Tuesday,

Tributes from Todd and Kandi's fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta stars have started to pour in.

"My condolences go out to Kandi and Todd for their loss," Kenya Moore wrote on Twitter. "She was a sweet woman who was always so nice to me. Saying a prayer for the family."

Porsha Williams also shared a heartwarming remembrance. "My prayers are with the Tucker family tonight!" she wrote. "Todd your mother Miss Sharon was a beautiful soul & so loving she will be missed. Love you guys."
