The party took place Thursday night "at Anderson Cooper's" as Andy shared on his Instagram account. And while there, the host managed to take a selfie. That selfie, you see, not only featured Monica and Andy, but also Real Housewives of Atlanta's NeNe Leakes.
"Monica Lewinsky & Nene Leakes were among the friends who came to celebrate #TheAndyCohenDiaries tonight at Anderson Cooper's," he noted, then sharing the notorious selfie of the trio.
Leakes had her own message for Cohen on the eve of his book's release date. "Celebrating wit my boo of 8 years @bravoandy 'The Andy Cohen Diaries' so proud of u," the Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared on Instagram.
The book officially hits shelves on November 11. It reflects on his past year, which includes his role as a talk show host, as well as the host of the always drama-filled Housewives reunions to his unforgettable cameo in Lady Gaga's "G.U.Y." music video.
"My new book is my reality show, in print," Andy shared back in May when he announced the tome, the follow-up to his New York Times bestseller Most Talkative. "It's the embodiment of everyone's secret desire to eavesdrop on the table next to them at a Manhattan restaurant, or to see what happens when we cut to commercial on my show. It's my own take on Andy Warhol's Diaries, which I loved, and I hope it will wind up being a pop culture time capsule in the same way his is."
And if fans are looking for some hot gossip about their favorite celebrities, Andy revealed to The Dish earlier this year he has no plans to burn any bridges.
"This book is not a mean-spirited book, because I'm not a mean-spirited person," he said. "It's fun! A lot of people have asked me if I'd do a reality show, and I think this book is the closest I'll get to doing one. There's one or two people who I think will know what's in there. But from writing my blog for so many years, I have a sense of what I can get away with."
The same day he releases the book, the author (along with his dog Wacha) will begin a book tour, beginning in Huntington, NY and wrapping up on December 11 in Cherry Hill, NJ. More information about the tour can be found on the website.
