Gigi Hadid Talks About The Best And Worst Things About Modeling

Yolanda Foster's daughter Gigi Hadid has been taking the fashion industry by storm, making a name for herself as one of the most on demand Top Models of the moment. The rising supermodel recently opened up about what she loves most about her jet-setting career, and also the downsides of working the fast-paced world of fashion.

"I'd say the best thing is the travel and being able to meet a lot of great amazing talented people," she told Vogue Australia. "It also opens so many doors to other industries. Fashion is really a place where every other industry connects, whether it’s music or acting. At the end of the day, everyone is going to walk the red carpet and be interested in the fashion side of it. I think that’s really cool because as a model you get to connect with a lot of different worlds."

With the good, however, comes the bad. "The negative is that I can never make plans until like a week or two in advance because everything happens very last minute," she said. "It's a wait and rush thing. I couldn't tell you what I’m doing for Christmas, or even Thanksgiving."

Having worked with Tom Ford and other A-list brands, the model also revealed her favorite fashion show in which she's walked.

"My favorite show would be Chanel this past season in Paris," she said. "It was surreal, absolutely beautiful and really well organized behind the scenes. It's nice as a model to arrive somewhere and feel like you can just enjoy yourself and take in the moment. It was a no-stress zone, which was cool."
