Andy Cohen: The Giudices WWHL Interview Was 'No Piece Of Cake'

Andy Cohen has interviewed a lot of people during his five-year tenure as the host of Watch What Happens Live. During a recent book tour event, the talk show host didn't hesitate when asked to name his most difficult interview subjects.

"That Teresa and Joe interview was no piece of cake," Andy said during the Q&A session of the Gilt City Miami launch party for his new book, The Andy Cohen Diaries. He was, of course, referring to the two-part interview earlier this fall when the couple sat down with him to discuss their just-announced sentencing for charges of fraud.

"They're not the most reflective people I've met," Andy continued. "I'm not throwing shade, but they're not reflective and introspective." Still, Andy also said that he sincerely hopes Teresa comes back to The Real Housewives of New Jersey after she finishes serving out her 15-month sentence beginning in January.

Elsewhere in the realm of Housewives, specifically how the Real Housewives of New York cast is handling the return to the show of the controversial Bethenny Frankel – who feuded on-air with Jill Zarin and LuAnn de Lesseps – Cohen said, "I think that they think it's good for the show, and they all have their own opinions about her personally, so we'll see how they play out on the show.

"They've expressed to me their excitement, nerves I think they would be expressing to each other."

Asked about any Housewife lobbying to get Zarin back on the show, Cohen said, "Yes! There is!"

In fact, Teresa was on on Andy's dreamlist of Real Housewives all-stars, if such a show were to ever exist! The fantasy cast according to Andy would also include Atlanta's NeNe Leakes, Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump, New York's Bethenny Frankel, Miami's Adriana De Moura and, of course, the OC's OG, Vicki Gunvalson.

As for what celebrity interview he'd love to tackle next? "Beyoncé! She'd be great," he said.
