Lisa Wu Is Glad She's Not On RHOA With Kenya Moore And Reveals Why She Returned To Reality TV!

During a recent interview with Wetpaint, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Lisa Wu opened up about starring in the new TV One reality series, Hollywood Divas. Wu also revealed that while appearing on the first two seasons of RHOA, producers made her omit the fact that she is an actor, writer and producer and more, check it out below!

Lisa dishes on here return to reality TV and her new show, Hollywood Divas.

“This show for me makes sense. I see a lot of the people with their tweets and comments on Instagram like “what is Lisa doing on Hollywood Divas,” but what they don’t know is that I started out writing and producing movies. I started in that and so when I heard about the show and it was about actors, I said, that would be great because people can find out about my background and who I really am.

On Real Housewives of Atlanta, they wouldn’t allow me to say on the first season that I was an actor, or writer, or producer because they wanted real personality. But then on the second season when everyone was like, “I’m an actor,” and everyone was like, “oh, Lisa’s just following,” but I’m like, “no, I started this many years ago.” So this just made sense.”

Wu still maintains a close relationship with her former RHOA cast members NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss and reveals that she's been keeping tabs on her old reality show, and she’s not entirely not to fond with the dynamics of the current cast, especially with Kenya Moore.

“I saw last season. I did. I’m glad I’m an outsider looking in. ‘Cause I don’t know… Kenya. I mean, I’ve met her a couple times, but this like whoa. I don’t think I could be on the show with her at that same time. It seems like there’s a lot of egging on or provoking, and the dynamics changed too, so I don’t know.” said Lisa.

That said, Lisa hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of one day making a brief return to the “RHOA” in the form of a cameo.
