Gina's alliance with Lisa Vanderpump - the two connected on social media and met up when the Australian was in Los Angeles last month - reportedly has socialite Brandi Glanville in particular nervous.
The source added that the last thing the LA stars of the reality show want is a 'mouthy newcomer' to team up with the already dominating Lisa.
Gina and Lisa met face to face last month after connecting on social media, the two snapped in Hollywood over dinner - no doubt discussing the trials and tribulations of gang warfare on reality TV.
The pair both claim the were ganged up on by their costars on recent series' and sought solace in each other via social media.
Back in April, Vanderpump reached out to Gina after she was alerted by a Twitter follower to the Australian's struggles on the local installment.
'Ugh all ganging up against one? Poor thing... I hear you,' Lisa tweeted Gina.
Adding: 'Try, as hard as it is, to remember... it says more about them than it does you.'
'Ganging up has been the whole journey. Thought this would be fun. Love to you. Stay beautiful x,' the hairspray aficionado replied.
