Alex Perry On Hosting The Real Housewives Of Melbourne Reunion: "It Was Probably One Of The Most Challenging Things I've Ever Done On TV"

A few months ago it was announced that Alex Perry was picked to be the host forThe Real Housewives of Melbourne reunion specials! Pop Sugar caught up with the outspoken fashion designer and reality TV star during the 2014 TV Week Logie Awards, Alex says that he loves all the wives for different reasons, and describes the reunion as intense and challenging. Check out what Alex had to say below!

POPSUGAR Australia: I wanted to ask you a quick question about hosting the Real Housewives reunion.

Alex Perry: [Laughs] Yeah! It was probably one of the most challenging things I've ever done on TV. I've done lots of stuff on television, but nothing quite like that. I reckon it took me about an hour or so to get into the groove of it, because it was pretty intense, with what was going on. And it was a long day; we shot for. . . I was there at 8 and didn't leave until half after midnight. It was a lot to get through. So, challenging.

PS: And everyone is wondering what happens on tonight's episode, because media didn't get screeners, and all the media are here. . .

AP: Yes, I'm sure everyone is IQing that! Look, it's good. It's a fitting last episode, I think, and then it segues really good onto the reunion special so we can discuss everything.

PS: Can you reveal who your favourite Housewife is?

AP: No. Do you know? I love them all for different things. They've all got great personalities. Gina's got a massive following, Chyka's got a massive following. I know Andrea's getting a really rough time. They've all got beautiful personalities. It's very different when someone puts a camera on you. I've said some of the worst things over the years; I look back and think, 'Why did you open your mouth? You should have just let that gurgle around your head a bit longer.' When somebody literally has a spotlight on you, like the Housewives, you say stuff I'm sure you regret. But you just have to get through it! That's what I tried to do at the reunion, too, that we get to some place towards the end of it where there's a bit of a resolve, and we can go forward.

There you have it, are you ready for The Real Housewives of Melbourne Reunion?
