Lydia Schiavello Says The Real Housewives Of Melbourne Is NOT Ruining Her Marriage!

Real Housewives of Melbourne star Lydia Schiavello has denied her marriage is on the rocks. The reality star has been hit by claims her husband Andrew Norbury, an architect and property investor, is unhappy with the way his wife has been behaving on the hit series. A source is quoted as telling the Daily Telegraph that the couple are having a 'rough patch' because of the intrusive nature of the TV series.

Foxtel's official Real Housewives spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Lydia and Andrew are not separated. They are very happy and are not having issues.' One of the six stars of the scandalous series, where fireworks and cat calling are a daily occurrence, the brunette has taken a no-holds-barred approach to her on-screen portrayal, leaving very little private.

The situation has escalated so much that news.com.au reported that the show's producers had removed a particularly heated scene from last week's episode where Lydia called Gina a dog for fear that the situation would spiral out of control. The controversy has inevitably spilled over into social media and it seems like it's all got too much for Lydia too as she released a statement on Facebook on Sunday saying: 'As a mother, wife, friend, housewife and lover of life, I am taking a step back from the negative and turbulent aspects of social media.

'While filming, we put ourselves out there in every aspect imaginable, without knowing what would, could or should come of the end result. Recently, the outcry on social media has portrayed every housewife in a way that is not always flattering or even accurate.'

The interior design student who married her husband in Florence, is mother to two boys and one girl, as well as step mother to Andrew's three children. Despite coming on the show with the tagline 'I may look like a jet setter, but my feet are firmly on the ground' she's provided viewers with some eye-popping luxury, showing off her private jet and regularly splashing the cash at designer shops.

But despite all the on-screen glamour Lydia makes time to keep it real: 'As busy as we all seem to be, I've always got time to speak to anybody, whether it's a beautiful homeless person or someone [who] wants directions in the city, and for my family.' One things for sure the sassy brunette who's not know for holding back on the show will certainly be keen to have her say on her martial status.
