Before They Were Real Housewives: Jackie Gillies

But long before she became a shining reality star, Jackie Gillies was a cute curly-haired little girl. The well known celebrity psychic and star of Arena's The Real Housewives of Melbourne shared a throwback photo last week of herself when she was a little girl, which was first published on Arena TV's website.

Jackie is wearing a pint-sized red velvet frock featuring a white embroidered bib paired with black shoes and white socks and a paper crown on her head. Jackie uploaded this photo on her instagram page with the caption: 'I wonder who this is ??? #teamjackie #jackiegillies #shineshineshine.'

Now all gown up, Jackie is now an accomplished celebrity psychic, she married Silverchair's drummer Ben Gillies, who also appears on the Real Housewives Of Melbourne in support of Jackie. The Daily Mail reports that the couple first met as teenagers, but it wasn't until they reconnected at a house party 14 years later that romance was on the cards.

They were married a year later, tying the knot at Christ Church Cathedral surrounded by family and friends, Jackie wore a custom-designed wedding dress created for her by her best friend Henry Roth, who appeared on the second episode of RHOMelbourne.

'It was perfect,' Jackie recently said on the show about her 2010 wedding. The nuptials were a lavish affair, with the bride adorned in Cerrone jewels including a 4.3-carat pink diamond ring and two-carat diamond earrings.

Among the guests was Johns' partner at the time, supermodel Louise Van de Vorst, fellow Silverchair bandmate Chris Joannou and longtime girlfriend, TV host Laura Csortan, manager John Watson, ABC3 and kids TV personality Mitchell Tomlinson and Silverchair's lead singer Daniel Johns who was Ben's best man.

In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Ben revealed that they only kissed for the first time two days before his proposal.

'We were lying on the beach under the stars with some wine and I remember thinking to myself that I don't want to be on my death bed and turn around and think, "that was the girl who got away",' he said.
'So I leant over and kissed her on the cheek.' said the rock star.

The couple moved from Newcastle to Melbourne at the end of last year to take part in the 10-part Real Housewives reality series. Jackie's introduction to the group of women from Australia's wealthy Toorak suburb shakes up the social dynamic, and she said earlier this year that after watching the first few episodes she was very amused. 'I think it's hilarious," she told MailOnline.

'I live in the moment and I'm glad I said 'yes' to doing it (the show). 'With me, what you see is what you get and I can just blow up. Some people can't handle that.' said Jackie.
