The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Episode 2

On this episode of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Lydia goes shopping and brings her step son Sam along with her. Lydia goes to a clothing boutique which Christine owns. Apparently Christine in well known in the fashion industry and not just in Australia but world wide. Lydia ends up buying a clutch worth $1,800 dollars, Lydia then decides to try on some dresses while her stepson takes pictures on his cell phone and sends them to his dad for approval, can I just swap lives with Lydia for just one day? Please Lydia!

Next Gina explains that she told her partner what Jackie said about their relationship. Her partner got so mad that he booked Gina a first class ticket to Miami so they can spend a whole week together. Then Gina decides to go shopping at Versace for her upcoming Miami trip when she gets a phone call from Lydia. Gina tells her that she's leaving to the US to spend time with her partner. Lydia thinks it’s because of what Jackie said which Gina responds: “I don’t believe anything she says anyways really, well not anything she obviously does have some credibility”. Gina says she’s been working too much and needs a break.

Jackie and Ben want to get in the alcohol business and create their own tequila brand. They meet up with a mixologist to get some ideas and of course try some tequila. Jackie says every rock star couple should create a brand, basically what Jackie wants, Jackie gets, I don't need to be a psychic to see that, even her husband agrees, cheers everyone.

Next Lydia meets up with Jackie at an art gallery to catch up. Lydia is still not 100% sold on Jackie’s “angels” and she tells her if she can pick up anything from her. Jackie tells her that she does see another child, and it’s going to be a boy with curly hair, Lydia seems surprised and not in a good wayt because she doesn't want anymore kids. Then they talk about the whole Gina psychic reading situation. Lydia tells her that Gina left to Miami that morning and that Gina told her partner what Jackie said about their relationship. Lydia then tells Jackie that Gina said that she didn't believe anything that Jackie says, which it's true but she forgot to add that Gina also said that Jackie does have credibility. I honestly think Lydia didn’t mean to get herself involved in this he said, she said fiasco but sadly in the Real Housewives world, you will get blamed for it, sad but true.

Next the very classy Andrea Moss introduces us to her infamous checklist. Andrea created a checklist for her kids and the nannies are responsible to make sure the kids follow every instruction. The nannies even have a nanny cell phone, they can only use it when they takes the kids to the park, and the phone is only to be used to talk to Andrea or Chris only, the cell phone has no internet, ouch but bravo to Andrea. Andrea admits that before she meet her husband Chris, she had no interest in being a mother but when she meet her husband all that changed and her kids are her main priority. Andrea and Chris believe that the checklist shows their kids discipline and if any of their nannies don't follow the checklist rules, they will get fired. Andrea explains that a lot of her girlfriends love her idea about doing a checklist which Andrea believes she’s the perfect person to write a book for all working mothers. According to Andrea, the book will provide you the tools to manage and balance family life, kids and business, all inspired by her experiences and of course, her checklist.

Chyka wants to organize a nice dinner event for all the girls to get together to show them how Chyka runs her game. I love Chyka, she seems so grounded and humble out of all the ladies despite her success. Next Jackie tells her husband what Lydia told her about what Gina said about her, and the more she thinks about the situation, the more upset she gets. Next Janet decides to take Jackie’s advice to sell some of the jewelry that her ex husband gave her. Janet goes to the jeweler along with Chyka. Since Janet doesn’t want to sell her jewels, she decides to melt them down and create a new jewelry piece for her to start over in her new single life and she feels liberated. It’s time for Chyka’s event and in Chyka’s style, she sends out a limousine and picks up all the wives. The ladies arrive at their location and they are impressed how Chyka organized everything. The ladies sit down for dinner and Gina becomes the topic of the conversation. Some of the wives think that what Jackie told her in her reading, is why Gina decided to see her partner in Miami, maybe to confront the situation. However, Chyka makes a valid point, if that's what Gina had to do to find out the truth then that's what she had to do, and I agree with Chyka. Next Bruce, Chyka's husband joins the ladies for lunch, damn he is such a handsome man, Chyka remember, sharing is caring girl (wink wink). Jackie then invites all the ladies for her upcoming rock star housewarming party and they give a toast to Chyka for an amazing dinner event.

Next Jackie’s friend, Henry Roth who is a fashion designer and the one who designed Jackie’s wedding dress, pays her a visit. They both catch up with a glass of champagne and she tells them about Planet Toorack and the ladies. Jackie tells Henry that when she married Ben, they both agreed to renew their vows every year, but they haven't had the chance to do it since they both been busy. Jackie decides to try on her wedding dress just to make sure it still fits, which id does. Johnny Depp aka Ben arrives and is mesmerized by watching his wife wearing her wedding dress, which reminds him he still needs to keep that promise to her of renewing their vows. You can tell these two love each other, they have fun together and they have great chemistry.

Gina is back in Melbourne, she says she confronted her partner and asked him if he was unfaithful. Gina says her partner denied everything, and Gina says she believes him. Gina explains that her partner wants her to move with him in the US however she is not ready to do that yet at the moment. Next Jackie tells her husband Johnny Depp (all in good fun, Jackie) that she wants to invite Gina to the housewarming party but first she needs to confront her about what she said about her. Jackie gives Gina a call and they both agree to meet at a local coffee shop.

Jackie and Gina meet up and Jackie doesn't wait any time to tell Gina what Lydia told her what Gina said about her. Gina tells Jackie that that's not what she said and she shouldn't quote it, it's all a Chinese whisper and in court, that would be dismissed since it’s not actual evidence. Gina tells Jackie that she did say something of that nature however she deals in fact. She doesn't believe that her partner is being unfaithful. Jackie then brings up that Gina asked for the reading which is why she told he about her grandmother, when Gina says “that's not my grandmother, that's a demon”. Jackie is taken back and asks Gina, “What’s a demon?” Gina tells Jackie that the bible says anything with sorcery etc is considered demonic. This pisses off Jackie, Gina insists it's not her grandmother, but a demon and Jackie tells her "you're acting like a demon". Gina says it's not a battle because she already won. Jackie cries out of anger because she is hurt that Gina would doubt her profession, Gina says it’s not that she didn't believe her psychic readings, she just didn't believe that her partner was unfaithful. At the end of the day, they both agree to disagree and Jackie tells Gina not to ask for any more reading and they leave it at that and the episode ends there.

The Real Housewives of Melbourne, Episode 3

Janet and Jackie head to Andrea skin care clinic Liberty Belle Clinic Centre because Jackie needs her daily douse of Botox. Jackie goes for moral support however she is also curious to see how the botox process goes. Andrea greets the ladies and Andrea’s husband Dr. Chris Moss starts injecting botox on Janet. Jackie seems shocked meanwhile Janet takes it like a pro! Next Jackie tells Janet about her meeting with Gina. Jackie says that everyone deserves second chances and tells het that she invited Gina to her housewarming party.

Next Andrea and Lydia go shopping to find the perfect housewarming party for the Rock star couple. Lydia tells Andrea that they should go out of town to ski and enjoy some snow and they both agree to invite Jackie, Andrea confesses that she’s never spend a day away from her family. Gina because the topic of conversation, Lydia tells Andres that she is going to meet with Gina later on in the afternoon to help her decorate her new apartment since Lydia is currently studying to be an interior decorator. Next Lydia visits Gina at her new apartment and gives her some ideas on how to decorate the apartment. Next Gina tells Lydia about her meeting with Jackie. All this she said, he said thing is so confusing, Lydia is getting confused and so am I. Gina confesses to Lydia that she dumped her partner’s ass, as Jackie predicted however Gina makes it clear that she was not influenced by what Jackie said, since her relationship was geographically impossible.

Next Jackie and Ben meet with Georgie and Tommy, their party planners to discuss how they want the housewarming party to be. Jackie and Ben decide to have a Mexican theme party, since Ben look Mexican, Jackie loves Mexican music and they both love tequila it was an obvious choice. However Jackie still wants the party to be chic, classy and very rock n’ roll. Since I’m Mexican-American, I approve this theme party Jackie, ARRIBA! Shine, Shine, Shine or should I say it in español instead, Brilla, Brilla, Brilla! Jackie and Ben do not want any gluten or diet type of food, they want regular food. Now that’s a true Mexican party, and trust me I know my Mexican food BLOOP!

Lydia and her husband Andrew decide to go shopping and since they are big ballers aka filthy rich, they take their private Jet and fly to King Island just to buy some cheese, yes people you read that right cheese over $200 worth of cheese. So if I want pizza or a cheeseburger I'm going to call Lydia so we can fly on her private jet to McDonald's or Domino’s Pizza because driving is so 2012 lol. I love me some Lydia, ok back to the recap. Next Jackie visits Chyka at her Capital Kitchen Food Store to get some business and branding advice. Jackie tells her that she is switching from creating a tequila brand to a cocktail brand because her psychic abilities and angels felt it was the best way, gotta love her. Jackie tells her the name of her cocktail will be La Mascara which means The Mask in Spanish, I personally love it. Chyka finds Jackie’s ways of doing business strange, especially since she consults with her angels, she believes that Jackie will soon find out how hard it is to manage and run a business.

Next Gina visits Andrea to catch up, Gina tells Andrea about her meeting with Jackie and all the misunderstanding between what she told Lydia aka Chinese whispers. Gina opens up that approximately 10 years ago, she was diagnosed with cancer and they gave her 35% chances of survival. Gina says the first thing she turned to was her faith and she became very spiritual. Gina says her religion states that what Jackie does is not guided by God more so it’s demonic, now all of this makes perfect sense, now I understand Gina’s point of view, I may not agree with her but I respect where she’s coming from. I honestly think if Gina would have told information to Jackie, there wouldn't be so much drama between the two but since this is the Real Housewives franchise, we know that's not the case. Gina starts to cry and she is even surprised because she has not cried about being a cancer survivor, I'm so glad we got to see a vulnerable side of her, and I'm so glad she survived because we got to know her, way to go Gina!

It's time for the Rock star power couple’s housewarming party, so get your tequila ready and get ready for a good time. Andrea and Lydia are the first ones to arrive which they are greeted by tequila shot, every guest must take a tequila shot before arriving. Next to arrive are Chyka, then Janet and last but not least Gina. Jackie and Ben open Andrea’s and Lydia's housewarming gift which are some head pieces, Janet gave her a nice crucifix and Gina gives Jackie some jewelry. Andrea finds it inappropriate of Gina to bring Jewelry as a gift, but I agree with Jackie any gift is well welcomed. Chyka gifts her some merchandise and supplies from her Capital Kitchen Food store and Andrea throws some shade about it.

Next Lydia and Andrea invite Jackie out of town to the some to some place I forgot what’s called, sorry everyone I’m not from Australia so bare with me. Meanwhile Gina tells Chyka and Janet that's she's single again, Janet and Chyka are happy that they are not invited to the snow and the three of them agree to have fun while the other ladies go out of town. Next the ladies are begin to dance, it’s nice to see them all let loose and have a good time. Andrea says she feels like Beyoncé, I don’t agree but hey, she’s having fun right?

Gina finally meets Ben for the first time when Jackie comes and Ben brings up the meeting that Gina and Jackie had, and all hell breaks loose after that. Once again the whole, Gina said about Jackie, Lydia said this is brought up, Gina tells Ben she’s not a believer and maybe Jackie is too sensitive, Ben says she will defend his wife regardless if he is in the wrong or right but the drama it’s too much for him and he decides to walk away. Soon Lydia joins the ladies and she is put in the hot seat. Gina and Jackie confront what Lydia has said of what Gina said about Jackie. Lydia still insists that Gina said she didn’t believe anything that Jackie says which is true, but Gina disagrees with Lydia because she said that’s not exactly what she said which is also true, at this point I’m confused and I don’t even care anymore who said what. Nothing get’s resolved and Gina leaves the party and the episode ends there.
