The Daily Telegraph writes
"Held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Deborah Hutton,
Danny Clayton, Matt Shirvington and Matty Johns were among those to walk the
red carpet before the subscription television broadcasters announcement of its
programming and technology plans for 2014.
Next year's production slate will be spearheaded by
entertainment, local dramas and sport with the newly announced line-up
including a range of new and returning TV series from Australia and overseas.
Foxtel executives revealed hit reality series Austraila's
Next Top Model will return for its ninth season on FOX 8.
However the highly anticipated reality series The Real
Housewives of Melboune was the show that had everyone talking.
The reality show is just one of Foxtels key local programs
set to premiere in the new year and will follow the over-the-top lives of six
larger-than-life socialites including Andrea Moss, A former TV journalist who
now runs the Liberty Belle skin care and plastic surgery clinic with her
husband Dr Chris Moss, and Gina Liano, well-known Melbourne barrister who is
the sister of fashion designers Bettina and Teresa Liano.
They are joined by Chyka Keebaugh, co-founder of the very
successful Big Group catering company; Janet Roach, a well-known Melbourne property developer; Lydia Schiavello, who is
studying to be a interior designer; and professional psychic Jackie Gillies,
the wife of silverchair member Ben Gillies who has recently moved from Sydney .
"It's been amazing," said Jackie Gillies.
"There are amazing women everywhere, but when it comes
to shopping and spending money, Melbourne
women just bring it."
