Jo Jordan Opens About Her Teen Pregnancy In New TV Show!

Dublin Wives star Jo Jordan will be back this fall in a new TV show to share her story to teenagers as she hopes they don't repeat the same mistakes she's made. Jo opens about her teen mom days and also updates us on her current relationship stats. The Independent is reporting the following:

"Jo is one of a host of celebrities who have been lined up to contribute to Darren Kennedy's Reality Bites show on virginity.

"I'll be getting my two cents in and making sure girls know that they need to do what is right for them at that age," Jo told the Diary.

"As I said, I was pregnant at 16 but I was in the wrong era. In my day, it was a shock to the system."
Jo says that having sex at a very young age is much more common these days and she wants teenagers to be aware of what they are letting themselves in for.

"Now it is crazy, I remember looking in the newspaper and it was the thing for 14-year-old girls to have their knickers down outside nightclubs," the 39-year-old explained. Jo recently sparked controversy when she revealed how she fell pregnant at 16 after meeting someone in a nightclub.
While she admits she was very young to get pregnant, she describes son Josh (23), as "the best thing that ever happened to me". "Where I lived in Ballymun it was sex, drugs or drink, and I was just curious," she explained. "I would never do drugs because my mam had warned me.

"The only thing left to do was have sex and unfortunately I got pregnant but now Josh is the best person in my life". Jo is waiting for a date to start filming on the show, but it is expected to take place at the end of the month.

The brunette is looking for "as much TV work as I can get" and she is also hoping to get her newest show idea -- a no-holds- barred documentary about her life with best friend Lisa Murphy -- off the ground.

They're hoping that the stripped-back show, will show them at their most vulnerable. "We're far from millionaires -- I want people's perception to change of me and Lisa," explained Jo. "I'm just going to work really hard now, trying to get a reliable production company to keep going with us," she added. And when it comes to her love life, Jo says she is "single and ready to mingle".

"I am very, very single, so I am hoping to find someone soon," she said. Jo will be looking forward to getting out on the town with her best friend Lisa, but was unable to attend the wedding of Lisa's brother this week.

Instead the blonde socialite flew solo out at the wedding without the company of her on/off again boyfriend Gerald Kean."
