iRealHousewives Exclusive Interview with Sin City Rules' Amy Hanley

I had lots of fun interviewing Amy Hanley. For those who don't know who she is, Amy is one of the five ladies starring in TLC's new reality tv show "Sin City Rules" which premieres tonight at 10:00 pm. Amy is a mother, daughter and a friend who also keeps busy working on running her business. Amy was kind enough to share some photos exlcusivley to iRealHousewives.com. Get to know Amy as she talks reality tv, love life, Sin City Rules and a bit of herself and find out if she puts the "sin" in Sin City in this exclusive interview with iRealHousewives.

iRH: Hi Amy! Welcome to iRealHousewives. How are you today?

AH: I am doing awesome!!! Thank you for asking.... How are you doing???

iRH: I'm doing great, thanks for asking. Congratulations on the season premiere of “Sin City Rules”. Are you excited for the premiere of the show?

AH: I am very excited about the premiere of the show. It is going to be a show that will have everyone wanting more and I can not wait to see it myself!!!!! :)

iRH: Can you tell us a bit about yourself so my readers can get to know you a bit better before the premiere of SCR?

AH: I looked at this one and said...... Hmmmmmm what can I share that isn't already out there. I have a terrible sweet tooth, love to wear a comfy pair of yoga pants with a sweatshirt and my hair up, love McDonald's Sweet Tea in a Styrofoam cup and a #4 combo meal. I can sit and laugh for hours and hours over the silliest of things, the bigger the challenge the more I want it, quality phone time with friends so we can chat and catch up. I love love love to do arts and crafts with my boys while they paint mommy head to toe and spending time with my mom as she is all I have left!

iRH: How were you approached to do the show?

AH: I would love to tell you however that is something we are not allowed to disclose at this time! Sorry. :)

iRH: Did you know any of the girls before joining Sin City Rules?

AH: All of us women run in the same elite social circles. We all have very strong ties to Las Vegas. I would love to say more however I would spoil the show!

iRH: The show has a similar format to The Real Housewives and Mob Wives franchises. What makes Sin City Rules different from the other “wives” shows?

AH: The first thing that makes us unique is that we are all strong independent women. We have excelled in our businesses and careers which has given us an amazing opportunity. We are all beautiful inside and out. We have come into our own and it will clearly show in this season. To "Live and Rule in Las Vegas" is the greatest gift that can ever be given.

iRH: Are you a fan of the Real Housewives and Mob Wives shows?

AH: I have watched both shows in the past but not very much of it. I am a Reality TV virgin (laughs). I currently do not have cable TV due to my children being so young and I want them to be more focused on things that stimulate their minds. When I did watch both shows I liked them and thought they were a lot of fun.

iRH: Without giving too much info what can the fans expect from the show?

AH: To see some amazing women go through a journey together that was real. It will be one hell of a roller coaster of a ride and it will keep you glued in your seats for sure wanting more! :)

iRH: I know you are working on launching your business Mob Doll Enterprises. Can you tell us what MDE is about?

AH: Mob Doll Enterprises is the mother hub of them all. She is the one that controls everything and makes the decisions for the sub-entities. A strong, independent woman owned and operated enterprise that produces products and services ranging from clothing, management, consulting to a hair line. Some of the lines and services that are in production are: Mob-Doll which is a logo/slogan wear line which will feature great slogans, tag lines and of course our logo's for all entities, Mob Doll Haute a high fashion line which is trendy, sexy, fun, flirty, glamorous and of course fashionable, Mob Doll Management an entertainment management company that does branding, marketing and managing and of course there is M Professionale a wet-dry high end hair product line featuring The Doll and The Don for both men and women. Each line is launching at different times and www.mobdollenterprises.com will feature all of the announcements, events and dates to expect them.

iRH: You’ve been pretty vocal about growing up in the mob life. Will the fans get to know more about your mob history on the show?

AH: Well......... I think we will leave that to the show. :)

iRH: Typically these shows can either make or break friendships. Can you say this applies to your show?

AH: For me no matter what I will always have a respect for everyone on the show. I respect their qualities as well as their flaws. Another cast mate and myself had a bumpy start in the beginning and I am sure everyone will be shocked to see that we formed the strongest bond through it all.

iRH: Usually when you put 5 girls to film together it can be stressful. Was there a certain point that you told yourself “What did I get myself into”?

AH: If I didn't tell myself that I wouldn't be normal. Yet it all worked out and look at us now! The show is about to premier tonight and it is going to be exciting. I am really looking forward to all of our hard work we put into this to finally see it air on TLC 12/09/2012 @ 10:00pm

iRH: Tell us why the fans should tune in every week to see “Sin City Rules”?

AH: Excitement, Laughter, Tears, Smiles, Triumphs, Success and yes of course DRAMA! I feel there is a great balance of everything involved and it will truly shine when the show premiers! The best part "We Make the World Turn, Not the Men!" (laughs)

iRH: One last thing... Do you put the “sin” in Sin City?

AH: Like Father Like Daughter! (LAUGHS!)

iRH: Anything you would like to say to your fans?

AH: Give us all a chance. I feel we all did an amazing job and really gave it our all. For me always please remember I am uncensored and unfiltered. I won't go into too much detail but it will reflect in the show! Owning and keeping it real is a big thing with me!
