Jamal Bryant Responds To Monique Samuels’ ‘RHOP’ Season 5 Reunion Allegations With His Own Binder And Slams Chris Samuels! Plus Jamal Says He “Will Never Be On RHOP” And Implies He’s Single!

Pastor Jamal Bryant took to Instagram to respond to the allegations that Monique Samuels made about him during Part 1 of the Real Housewives of Potomac season five reunion.

If you recall, Samuels pulled out her now-iconic binder full of receipts but Jamal is reposing to Monique's claims with a binder of his own.

Jamal reveals that he was trying to “honor the wishes” of Gizelle, who had asked him “not to respond,” but he didn’t want his “silence” to be “confused with consent.”

“A bone of contention between Gizelle and I for years was about her participation in the show and how it is that I did not support it,” Jamal said in a lengthy Instagram live session, according to a report by Reality Blurb. “In baby steps of reconciliation, I agreed to be on it, against my better judgment, against my wisdom, and even against my convictions. I wholeheartedly regret participating and I want you to know that I will never be on the [RHOP] or anything in that franchise ever again. I wanted you to know why.”

“You can’t bring me receipts if I got the cash register,” he then began as he opened his own binder, addressing the receipts Monique shared regarding another woman with whom he was texting.

“Yes, I dated a young lady in New York. In case you all missed it, I’ve been divorced for 11 years and single people date. When you date, sometimes it works, and sometimes it didn’t. In this instance, it didn’t. Nothing immoral, illegal, or unethical took place, it did not work out,” he shared, then switching gears to address his relationship status.

“There is some clarity that needs to happen: I’m not married, I’m not engaged. Some of you have a strange relationship with language. You can’t have a mistress while you’re single. So I never had a mistress,” he revealed, seemingly implying that he was no longer seeing Gizelle or wasn’t at the time, reports the outlet. “As a consequence, she’s never been to visit me in Atlanta, never been at New Birth, never been in my home, I’ve never been in her home.”

The Atlanta pastor then called out the women who reached out Samuels, accusing her of chasing “clout” by sending the text messages allegedly first to Bravo and then to all the women on the cast — except for Gizelle, of course.

Jamal then slammed Monique for her involvement with the rumors about him and insisted that he was “not sleeping with any woman” in his church and had “no inappropriate relationship” with any woman in his church.

“I understand what the hostility was about and why the redirect of attention was on me,” he said, noting Monique’s obvious anger at Gizelle’s shade about the rumor of Monique fathering a child with her trainer, according to a report by Reality Blurb. “It is not Gizelle who leaked that story, but your best friend GiGi. [Monique] became hostile and angry and it is misdirected rage.”

Jamal then slammed Monique’s husband, Chris Samuels, over his reunion behavior, accusing the former athlete of being mentally unstable.

“You live in a house with a man who has anger management [issues], who doesn’t mind expressing volatile behavior. Everything that I’m saying tonight is not conjecture,” he shared. “You will see Monique’s husband try to attack my wife — my ex-wife — [at the reunion] and Robyn [Dixon], and security had to be called and he had to be subdued. Monique, you all have my phone number, as you expressed on the show, but I had y’all’s address but because of grace, I didn’t respond to that.”

Jamal then accused the former NFL football player of potentially having CTE, or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, a common occurrence of brain trauma for former athletes.

“Chris, you got to take care of CTE. Some of your former teammates contacted me, they’re concerned, [they said] ‘Jamal, please, don’t respond’ because CTE is a progressive degenerative disease from a history of trauma to the brain,” he shared. “Just last week you had an outbreak again of verbally assaulting a black woman in Safeway — we have the footage of that, but I’m not gonna air that, but I’m asking that you please get help. I’ve tracked down your pastor, so all of what I’m saying is involved, so your pastor can help you get the help that is needed and is necessary.”

Jamal also once again reiterated his ‘single’ claim on his Instagram Stories, sharing his earlier quote that read: “You can’t have a mistress, when ur SIIINNGLE!!!!!! (U dummies!).”

Bryant first addressed Monique’s allegations via Instagram after Part 1 of the RHOP Reunion aired on Bravo.

“Give no energy to anything that doesn’t add to your joy, align with your purpose or pay any of your bills! Be at peace!” he wrote.

During Part 1 of the RHOP Season 5 reunion, the drama between Monique and Gizelle kicked off after reunion host Andy Cohen asked Gizelle what the status of her relationship was with her ex-husband-turned-boyfriend, Jamal Bryant. Gizelle shared that while the two are still together things amid the COVID-19 pandemic have been “tough” as he remains in Georgia.

Karen then refuted Gizelle's words that the couple was still together, saying, “That's not the word on the street." Huger added she had heard that the two were “pretending” to be together, calling their relationship a business “arrangement.” Taking it a step further, Karen also asked if it was true that Jamal had allegedly had a baby with another woman while with Gizelle, according to PEOPLE.

Denying Karen's claims, Gizelle said, “Jamal and I have been through a lot. There's a lot that people say.”

“But when ya'll were announcing that ya'll got back together, he told his girlfriend at the time that it was just reality TV and it wasn't true,” Monique interjected, shocking the room.

When Cohen asked Monique how she was sure of her comment, she claimed that Jamal's alleged girlfriend reached out to her and sent her screenshots and “pictures of her in his bed and everything else.”

“He's definitely been talking to another woman and if you'd like to see them I got them in my little receipt book,” Monique said as she reached for her color-coded binder.

“I don't have any reaction to that,” Gizelle said while Monique flipped through the book and proceeded to read the pages of text message screenshots.

“How do you know that those messages are real?” Cohen asked.

“Want me to call out his phone number? I'm sure she knows what his number is,” Monique said before reading out the cell number to the entire group. After a beat, Gizelle confirmed that the number was in fact Jamal's but wasn't buying any of Monique's claims.

“I don't believe anything that comes out of Monique's mouth. Or anything that she has in her binder,” Gizelle said, according to PEOPLE. “I know she was coming to make up whatever.”

As Candiace called Monique's actions “disgusting,” Monique continued to read out alleged text messages between Jamal and the woman, contending that Gizelle's relationship was “fake” and "fraudulent.”

“If you're going to come for my family and my relationship, I'm coming right back to you,” Monique said adding, ”Your pastor boyfriend is swinging his big D around his congregation, even in Atlanta as we speak and you know it. You're a fraud.”

When Cohen asked Gizelle if she had a reaction, Monique instead responded and said, “Of course she doesn't have a reaction cause she knows it's true.”
