Lisa Vanderpump opens up about the new season of Vanderpump Rules and teases what viewers can expect in Season 8. "It does get a bit divided and it is a bit polarizing,' Lisa told The Daily Mail

"You know, some people agree with this one and some people agree with that one, but it definitely has a different flavor this season."

In the premiere episode, we were introduced to three of the newbies as well as tensions from the original cast members, in particular, Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval, as well as Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute.

Lisa says that the success of the series is the fact that the ups and downs in the cast, which she describes as authentic and not boring.

"It's produced around an authentic group of people," she explained. "It's fast, it's furious. It's not boring. We're not waiting for things. Everybody has an opinion."

"I've been quite transparent with who I want to strangle and who drives me crazy," Lisa laughed. "I think you know exactly what I'm talking about."

She continued: "And some people, I really feel have a lot of potential. I think Stassi, especially, is one of those."

When asked if Beau Clark came to see her prior to proposing to Stassi, LVP played coy. "I'm not going to tell you anything," she told The Daily Mail. "You're going to see how that plays out on the show."

Lisa also believes that Jax Taylor has put his PLayboy persona behind him due to his relationship to now-wife Brittany Cartwright and claims she even can relate to their relationship in her marriage to husband Ken Todd.

"Well, they say a leopard never change its spots. But, you know, I was married to a leopard, so, he changed his spots, I changed them for him, you know," she said with a smile.

Adding: "I think [Jax] suddenly realized how good Brittany was for him."
