Gigi Hadid Rekindles Romance With Zayn Malik One Year After Split — Yolanda And Bella Hadid React!

E! News reports that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are back together. The two, who officially called it quits in 2018, reconciled last month and celebrated his 27th birthday on Friday night at the Italian restaurant il Buco in New York City.

Gigi and Zayn were joined by Gigi's family, who consisted of sister Bella Hadid, mother Yolanda Hadid and brother Anwar Hadid and his girlfriend singer Dua Lipa.

"Gigi and Zayn got back together right before the holidays in December," a source told E! News. "Zayn has been reaching out to Gigi for the last month and she is giving him another chance."

"She has always loved him and the break between the two was needed," the source continued. "Zayn has been working on his past music and focusing on his health and is in a really good place currently."

According to the source, Hadid rented a private room at il Buco in New York City for Malik's dinner celebration.

"Everyone is happy for them and Yolanda and Bella have always loved Zayn," the source told E! News. "They all have always treated him like part of the family."

Meanwhile, other sources are sharing new details about Hadid and Malik's reconciliation. “They got back together very recently,” an insider told Us Weekly. “They have been trying to make it work for three months but it has been slow and steady.”

So how do Gigi's mother and sister feel about getting back together with Zayn?

“Yolanda loves all of the guys her girls have brought home. She gets extremely close to the boyfriends and she always really liked Zayn,” a source told HollywoodLife. “So, if he is what makes Gigi happy, then she supports it.”

As for Bella, “Bella couldn’t be happier to see how happy Gigi is with Zayn,” a source told HollywoodLife. “The only thing that matters to Bella is to see her sister happy and if Zayn makes Gigi happy, then Bella completely supports them dating again.”

Apparently, the couple was also present for Gigi and Bella's mother Yolanda's birthday celebration. “It seemed very natural for Zayn to join their family for Yolanda’s birthday. They all had a really good time together and Zayn gets along with their family really well,” the source continued. But for Bella, her focus will always be on “how happy Gigi was. That’s the most important thing to Bella, and nothing else matters.”

Apparently, Gigi and Zayn “can’t quit each other,” a secondary source shared. “He loves her deeply and wants to be with her forever, he is that committed.” The source claims that “things are going well with them and family and friends are happy for them,” the source told HollywoodLife, adding, “but no one would be surprised if there is any future drama or breakup down the line.”

The couple began dating in November 2015 and announced that they had called it quits nearly three years later. After a brief reconciliation, they confirmed their split in January 2019.
