Gretchen Rossi Is Pregnant, Expecting First Child With Fiancé Slade Smiley!

Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi has confirmed during Monday's episode of The Doctors that she is pregnant and is expecting her first child with fiancé Slade Smiley.

Most recently, Rossi completed her embryo implantation after a four-year infertility struggle to conceive. Seven weeks later, the former Bravo reality star confirmed the procedure worked.

“We are pregnant!” Gretchen told OB/GYN Dr. Nita Landry, who paid the couple a visit during Monday's episode. “And we’re freaked out… but in a good way,” adds Slade. The Doctors share the joyful footage of Gretchen and Slade receiving that confirmation phone call from their doctor.

Gretchen shared that after their first round of IVF when they lost 14 embryos, she needed about a year and a half to even get to the point where she could talk about it. Smiley says wished he could do more in the process after watching her go through so much pain. He says he wishes he could be the one to take some of those shots. “It’s been such an emotional journey for us. Because of that, it’s brought us so much closer together,” says Gretchen.

Rossi also revealed that she's been dealing with morning sickness. She adds that it’s been “all day sickness.”

So how does Gretchen feel about expecting her first baby? “It’s pretty exciting that we have our little Christmas miracle,” Rossi told PEOPLE. “It’s been a little bit harder than I definitely anticipated,” Rossi says of her pregnancy symptoms. “I think they lie to you when they tell you you’re gonna get morning sickness. They lie to you — it’s all day sickness! But the good news is that my doctor told me that’s actually a good sign.”

Rossi took to social media to share the good news with her fans. “YES the News is true!!!!!!!!!!!!!👶🏻We are beyond ecstatic to finally announce that we are expecting a little bundle of joy!!!!!! ❤️ Our hearts are so full right now!! It was one of the happiest days of my life when we received the incredible news that I was pregnant!!!
