Andy Cohen And RHONY Ladies Weigh In On Luann de Lesseps’ Palm Beach Arrest!

Many of Luann de Lessep's Real Housewives of New York City co-stars recently attended Bethenny Frankel's launch of her Skinnygirl Jeans line in New York City, where they discussed their co-star's recent arrest. Frankel revealed to E! News that she's "been texting" Luann, adding, "She's taking care of herself. She said she's in a good place, so you know like I said, we all have our flaws. Luann's no different."

She adds, "We all have high points, low points, times we feel confident, times we feel less confident and so... but I'm sorry she's not here."

Meanwhile, Sonja Morgan confirmed that she's spoken to de Lesseps. "She's doing the right thing," says Lady Morgan. "She is taking care of herself for her children and for her family. Listen, it can happen to anyone. It happens to a lot of people just most people don't get caught."

From her perspective, "It's a fish bowl in Palm Beach and when you're tall like Luann, and you have that voice, you're going to be spotted."

As for Dorinda Medley, she is confident that her close friend is going to come out of this better than ever. Medley admits she hasn't been able to "talk to her much because she's kind of doing her own thing," but adds, "We have all been there. By the grace of God, we've all been there where you have the aha moment were you're like, 'This is it.'"

"The great thing is it is a great opportunity to look backwards in four to five years and say, 'Thank God that happened. Look who I am today if it was not for that.' Luann's a strong girl and I love her, I support her and I look forward to what's going to happen going forward."

"You know what they say," Medley tells E! News, "'When something stops, something new begins. Every ending is a beginning.'"

Luann de Lesseps' boss Andy Cohen also shares his thoughts on the former Countess' arrest. “I haven’t [talked] … We’ve texted,” the Watch What Happens Live host told reporters at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday, January 11, when asked if he’s spoken to de Lesseps recently, reports Us Weekly.

As previously reported, Luann was arrest in the early morning hours on Sunday, December 24 and charged with disorderly intoxication, battery on an officer/firefighter/EMT, resisting arrest with violence and threatening a public servant, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

She had been discovered trespassing in a hotel room with an unidentified man, according to a police report. The pair had entered the wrong room at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach and refused to leave.

According to the report, de Lesseps “shoved” a police officer who responded to the scene and “slammed” the bathroom door on his forehead.

De Lesseps later also told the officer “I’m going to kill you all,” according to the police report.

After her arrest, de Lesseps released a statement saying, “This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding, and being here brought up long-buried emotions. I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018.”
