Bravo Confirms Kary Brittingham And Brandi Redmond Filmed ‘RHOD’ Season 5 Reunion Virtually Due To COVID-19!

Bravo has officially confirmed that Kary Brittingham filmed the Real Housewives of Dallas season 5 reunion virtually after testing positive for COVID-19.

Brandi Redmond also attended the reunion taping virtually. The mother-of-four quarantined and filmed remotely "out of an abundance of caution after coming in close contact" with Brittingham ahead of the reunion, said Bravo Insider.

Meanwhile, D'Andra Simmons, Kameron Westcott, Stephanie Hollman, and Tiffany Moon all filmed in-person with host Andy Cohen.

Kary confirmed in an April 16 Instagram post, she tested positive for COVID-19 before the reunion. The Mexican beauty confirmed that she has since recovered from the viral illness, adding that she suffered "very mild" symptoms.

"I'm back home and had a very mild Covid 19 experience," she wrote earlier this week. "Thankful for my health, family, and amazing friends that checked on me everyday 💖 love you all so much."

People Magazine's Dave Quinn first teased about the virtual taping of Brittingham and Redmond that viewers are "going to see something" at the RHOD Season 5 reunion that fans of the franchise have "never seen at a Housewives reunion before."

He tweeted, "I can say without exaggeration that we’re going to see something at the #RHOD reunion this year we’ve never seen at a Housewives reunion before."
