Whitney Rose credits Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney for being her rock through her experience on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“[She] has been kind of my rock through this,” Whitney told Entertainment Tonight. “She responds to me right away every time I message her, anytime. There’s as many highs as there’s as many lows, and in those low moments Katie’s given me the best feeling of safety and advice.”
If you recall, Katie, as well as her castmate, Lala Kent, is a Utah native. Whitney says Katie’s advice has been pretty simple: look inward and brace yourself for the haters.
“You're going to be so worried about the fact that the world knows you had an affair, or you got drunk and you threw a glass, whatever it is, but people are going to come after you for, like, the type of bread that you fed your kid,” she shared.
Meanwhile, following the series premiere of RHOLSC, Maloney took to her Instagram Stories where she threw shade at Barlow after many of her cast members referred to her as the queen of Sundance.
“They refer to Lisa as the Sundance queen, saying, ‘If you want to get into any party at Sundance, you’ve gotta know Lisa. You’ve gotta kiss the ring,’” Katie began in a video, which was shared and captured by Instagram page Queens of Bravo, according to a report by Reality Blurb.
“I’m from Park City, where the Sundance Film Festival takes place, and that may not make a lot of a difference but still, I’ve been to a lot of parties there [and I’ve] never heard this woman’s name,” Katie continued. “There are people’s names who I know to use and she’s definitely not one of them. Just saying.”
