Kelly Dodd’s Brother Eric Meza Says Their Mother Bobbi Meza Is In ICU Due To COVID, Kelly Speaks Out!

Kelly Dodd’s brother Eric Meza revealed that their mother, Bobbi Meza, is in ICU battling COVID. According to Us Weekly, Eric posted a photo via Instagram on Saturday, November 21, that read, “Prayers for my mother. She has COVID19.”

He captioned the photo, “Prayers needed for my mother. Thank you. She is in ICU.”

Dodd commented on the post, “Mom has me blocked! Jr said she’s not in ICU,” in reference to her other brother, JR Meza.

Eric replied to Dodd’s comment, which has since been deleted. “Jr doesn’t know s*t ! She is in ICU! I took her!”

In a post, which was captured and shared by Queens of Bravo, Dodd responded to many social media users who called her out following her controversial comments about the pandemic.

One user asked Dodd, “Hope your mom is ok , Kelly. This covid is really bad.”

To which Kelly replied, “She will be getting out of ICU soon.”

Another user wrote, “I wonder if you still think your moms COVID ICU is God’s way of thinning the herd?”

Kelly wrote back, “She’s not dying abs she’s not on a ventilator.. it’s her blood sugars we are worried about !”

Another commented, “Now maybe you will wear a mask full time.”

To which Kelly wrote back, “She wears a mask full time and got the virus .. I’ve never been sick or gotten anyone sick .”

Meanwhile, another user asked, “Is your mom ok ? I read she has covid and is in the ICU or is it fake news ?”

Dodd replied, “No she’s in ICU Pray for my mom .”

Another user asked Dodd, “Are you going to take covid more seriously now? Do you still think everyone is sheep? Do you still feel this is God’s way of thinking the heard? I hope she recovers and vou learn from this”

To which Kelly replied, “My mom is diabetic and 71 of course I take Covid seriously!!”

She added, “It’s the thinning the herd not heard .”

One user wrote, “Seriously you really don’t believe that a strip of fabric is going to stop you getting Covid?? I wonder if social distancing was part of the proceedings because if you didn’t social distance along with wearing masks, you were just lucky no one caught Covid. For some reason people think if you wear a mask you can stand together as in one negates the other, it doesn’t! I know of one person at my work who wore a mask all the time, she’s the only case of Covid we have had!”
To which Kelly replied, “If your pans can’t contain a fart, you think a strip of fabric can contain a virus.”

Dodd first came under fire in April when she claimed the coronavirus pandemic was “God’s way of thinning the herd.” However, she quickly apologized, saying, “That’s not what I meant.”

“I’m not insensitive,” she said at the time. “I feel bad for all the families that lost loved ones, and I do think that we should all stay home and protect everybody. That’s not what I meant, and I want to apologize to anyone who got offended, OK? I’m sorry.”

In May, Dodd apologized again for another insensitive comment she made about the pandemic.

“I’m so sorry if I offended anyone regarding the Coronavirus.  Like millions of Americans I’m frustrated and longing for the way things were but I absolutely empathize with those who’ve lost loved ones..,” she tweeted.

The Bravo reality star’s apology comes after footage from an Instagram live featuring Kelly surfaced. During the chat, a friend of the RHOC star told her, “It’s more every day. In New York, we’re down to 250 [deaths] a day.”

Dodd then compared coronavirus to “the flu” and added, “But how many people die on a daily basis? … Well, people are going to die! I’m sorry to tell ya.”
