Leah McSweeney Confirms She’s Returning To ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’ For Season 13!

Leah McSweeney has confirmed that she will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City for the show's upcoming season 13.

As you may recall, McSweeney’s status was in question in September 2020 when fans noticed she removed “RHONY” from her IG bio and TMZ reported that she refused to sign her contract with Bravo over a salary despite after she allegedly was offered a ‘minuscule’ pay raise!

However, after weeks of speculation, Leah confirmed her return to the series when she replied to a user in the comment section of an Instagram post, which was shared and captured by Instagram page Comments By Bravo.

“I’m comin back,” Leah replied, confirming her return to RHONY. “My work here isn’t done yet! ”

The news comes after Dorinda Medley announced her departure from the series in August. Tinsley Mortimer left the series mid-season after she decided to move to Chicago to be with her now-fiancé Scott Kluth.

This week, Elyse Slaine, who appeared on the show as a friend this season, announced that she was not returning to the show next season. Bravo is allegedly considering adding new women to add diversity to the series.

“Bravo is planning to shake things up with The Real Housewives of New York next year,” one insider told Us Weekly in August 2020. Another source added at the time, “There’s going to be some changes. … A handful of white women doesn’t necessarily represent what New York City is all about.”

Alicia Quarles, who is a correspondence for theDaily Mail, and motivation speaker Bershan Shaw are rumored to be joining the series. It’s likely Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, and Luann de Lesseps will be back for season 13. Luann told Extra in August 2020 that there will “definitely” be “some new Housewives” added to the mix next seasons.
