Katie Maloney Believes Stassi Schroeder Will Be A ‘Great Mom’ And Explains Why She Reevaluated Her Friendship With Kristen Doute Following ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Firings; Says “I Can Look Past All The Drama That Happened Last Year And Just Be There For My Friend”

Katie Maloney reveals were her friendships with Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder currently stands following their Vanderpump Rules firing.

“Our friendship throughout the years has definitely gone through fallouts to reuniting to just being kind of like sisters where we get into arguments. We don’t agree all the time,” she told Us Weekly.

Maloney added, “This past year was hard because [Stassi and I] both saw our friend struggling and felt that her behavior was very dysfunctional and we wanted to step in and be like, ‘Hey, I want you to be happy.’ And she kind of thought we were just trying to tell her what to do with her life and all that, so we ended up just kind of being like, ‘You know what? We’re gotta take our space.'”

Katie admitted that she reevaluated her relationship with Doute after Bravo fired her and Schroeder from the show in June.

“Then, when everything happened in June with them getting fired, I just was like, ‘You know what? Kristen has been someone who has been like a sister to me for so long, I can look past all the drama that happened last year and just be there for my friend right now,'” she recalled. “The [past] stuff just seemed petty in the big picture and wanting just to be there for her and support her and [let her] know that it’s going to be OK and trying to just be supportive.”

Maloney then shared her thoughts on bestie Schorder's pregnancy and explains why she believes Stassi is going to be a “great mom.”

“She has such a maternal sort of aspect of her,” she told Us Weekly. “She’s really caring and likes to care for people and wants to just have a little mini her. I’m like ‘Oh, my gosh, she’s going to be a little devil.’”

Katie thinks that Schroeder and her fiancé, Beau Clark, will make a “good” pair as parents, adding that, “Stassi definitely has more of the feminine energy and Beau’s a little more rambunctious, so it will be interesting to see like who she takes after more.”

Maloney added that Beau and Stassi have “already got, like, a full year’s wardrobe.”
