New Sources Reveal The Alleged Reason Why Emily Simpson And Shannon Beador Didn’t Attend ‘RHOC’ Season 15 Cast Trip!

New details have emerged about The Real Housewives of Orange County. According to new sources, Emily Simpson and Shannon Beador didn't join the rest of the cast due to health reasons amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Thursday, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Kelly Dodd, Gina Kirschenheiter, and rumored newbie, Elizabeth Vargas, all headed to Lake Arrowhead, which is located in the San Bernardino Mountains, California.

“The girls (RHOC cast) are going to Lake Arrowhead. It’s a beautiful lake setting in the mountains. They’re staying in a private cabin away from the crowds as a safety measure, due to COVID-19.” A production insider told AllAboutTheTEA.

As for Emily Simpson and Shannon Beador, the source claims that the two did not attend the infamous cast trip due to COVID-19 concerns.

“Shannon and Emily are not going on the girls trip because Emily tested positive for COVID-19,” the source continued. “And a family member of Shannon has COVID-19 and Shannon likely has it too.”

“The cast is being tested for COVID-19 on a weekly basis and their temperatures are taken daily.” A production source told AllAboutTheTEA.

This week, it was confirmed that production resumed for the show's upcoming fifteenth season. The ladies are currently filming a cast trip, reported Page Six.

Gina Kirschenheiter teased the trip in a now-deleted Instagram post, which she captioned: “Here’s a novel idea…Quarantine us all together. I’m sure it’s gonna go great.”

She later changed the caption to read, “Take two….❤️ 🤷🏼‍♀️.”

Braunwyn Windham-Burke also teased in a now-deleted Instagram story, “Family bed tonight since mommy is leaving tomorrow for a girls trip!”

Emily Simpson, Kelly Dodd, and Shannon Beador are returning to the series but have not posted anything about the trip. The ladies will be joined by new rumored cast member, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, who is close friends with Dodd. Vargas has also not shared or posted anything about the trip.

“‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ recently resumed production with a comprehensive health and safety plan,” a rep for the network confirmed to Page Six. “The plan was developed in accordance with CDC guidance, all state and local orders, as well as NBCUniversal’s own safety guidelines. The health and safety of the cast and crew is the priority of Bravo for all of its shows.”
