Lydia McLaughlin Reveals She And Her Mother Judy Stirling ‘Are Getting’ Their Own Digital Series On Bravo; Says “Can’t Wait For It To Launch”

Lydia McLaughlin, who appeared on Season 8 and Season 12 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, recently revealed during a recent Q&A session that she's making her return to Bravo as she and her mother will be starring in their own digital series for the network.

A fan asked Lydia, “Would you ever want to do Housewives again?”

McLaughlin responded, “Nope. No. Not at all. I am grateful for the #RHOC chapter, but have moved on. My mom and I are getting ready to launch an online series with @Bravotv in the next few months that I am really excited about.”

Another fan asked, “Are you still super close with any of the Housewives?”

Lydia replied, “I am friends with all the nice housewives from #rhoc. I think a few have still blocked me.”

When another fan asked, “Will you do another reality show again? I miss you!!!”

Lydia added, “Yes! My mom and I have been filming an online series for @bravotv and can’t wait for it to launch.”

McLaughlin confirmed her departure from RHOC on February 2018. Lydia shared the news via her personal blog that she's not returning to the Bravo hit reality series, marking the second time she's left the show.

“RHOC has given me a great platform and I’m grateful for that. However, I feel like I can only handle this show one season at a time,” she wrote in a blog post on Friday (February 9). “I need a break! There is a lot of good that comes from the show, but also a lot of negativity. After a family vote, it was unanimous that I should take a break. Sometimes the people who love us the most see things even we don’t see. I trust my path and I’m excited for what the future holds.”

“Bravo and Evolution have been amazing to me and I have made great friendships. I treasure all my fans and appreciate all the love and support. I’ve been honored to be a source of entertainment and inspiration to all of you and I hope to continue spreading light and love,” she continued. “Being a full time mom to THREE little boys, publisher of NOBLEMAN Magazine, blogger, jewelry designer, author, and wife, I have a lot going on! I will continue to share my life and faith and use this platform to be a lightworker.”

“I grew up on TV and love the entertainment business. I can’t help and be a little sad for my departure but 100% feel it is the best for me and my family. Lots of other dreams to make come true in my life and in no way do I want to make a career out of being a housewife. That just isn’t me. Life is short and I choose to focus on what makes me happy and brings me joy.”

“After season 8, I decided to take a break and write a book and have my third baby. That was the right decision for me although many people didn’t understand why I would walk away. Gods plan is always good and it was the perfect timing for me with the launch of NOBLEMAN Magazine to return for season 12. I feel it is now, the perfect twist to once again hang up my orange.”
