Vanderpump Rules Editor Bri Dellinger Confirms She’s Been Fired After Admitting She Manipulated Scenes To Embarrass Scheana Shay! Read Her Now Deleted Open Letter Here!

Bravo editor Bri Dellinger, who previously admitted she purposely edited the show to embarrass Scheana Shay on Vanderpump Rules, has confirmed that she was fired according to an “open letter” she wrote that was posted and then deleted from The Reality TV Therapist website.

In her open letter, which was taken down shortly after it was released on the website, she called out fans and cast members of the series who wanted to see her lose her job after sharing behind-the-scenes tea.

Luckily for us, the screenshots were captured by @LoveAndyC before the post was removed from the site.

“To any of the cast members who wanted me out: I’m out!… To the critics who have made it their mission to get me fired: you succeeded in your short-sighted mission and solved nothing,” Bri wrote in the now-deleted post via The Reality TV Therapist website. “I’ve been removed from the show I love and, while it is a heart-break for me because I genuinely loved editing this show, it will not ruin me professionally, nor will it change the editing of the show at all.”

Bri told the cast members that they will miss her “Bri Flair” in the episodes that are edited after her departure, according to The Ashley's Reality Roundup. “Aside from that, whatever else you thought you were accomplishing by getting rid of me, you didn’t,” Bri wrote.

Bri also revealed that the network will continue to make shady edits, just like she did on the show, and added that many of the editing decisions are made by Bravo and its executives.

“The network and higher executives who actually made the calls that you may or may not be happy with will remain absolutely the same,” Bri wrote. “In other words, you have not changed the system.”

The news comes after Dellinger appeared on two now-deleted episodes of the “Twisted Plot Podcast” with Evelyn Marley where she revealed that she likes to manipulate scenes to embarrass Scheana Shay. “If Scheana knew what was good for her, she’d befriend me because my favorite game is finding all of the embarrassing things that Scheana does and putting them all in. … [The editors] joke that Scheana’s memoir will be Death By a Million Embarrassments.”

She then admitted that she manipulated a scene between Shay and Schroeder’s teenage brother Nikolai at Schroeder’s engagement party.

“It was so funny,” she said. “We were watching the scene and were like, ‘Okay, this is over the top, I realize that, but how can we resist?’ … Yes, I set it to funny music and I added a funny [sound] bite, but she did that.”

Dellinger continued, “We asked her in the interview, ‘How young would you go?’ and we didn’t tell her it was for the Nikolai scene, of course.”

An insider revealed to Page Six that after the episodes were mysteriously removed from Apple Podcasts that Shay has been upset by the way Season 8 has played out.

“Scheana’s definitely frustrated with how she’s been portrayed,” the insider said. “She’s not the type to pop off when she feels slighted by an unflattering edit. She signed on to be a part of a reality show, which requires her to share her life highs and lows; she just wishes audiences got to see a bit of a more balanced view of her life, not just the most cringe-worthy moments.”

“She’s been assured by the network and production that she’s part of the charade,” the insider added. “She’s going to be absolutely crushed by hearing that she’s actually the butt of the joke.”

Shay seemingly responded to the podcast later on Monday. In a since-deleted tweet to Bravo executive Andy Cohen, she wrote, “Hey @Andy I have some tea for you … check your DMs!”
