When one of Staub’s fans came to her defense and said that she raised daughters who are “college graduates,” Laurita responded, “Her kids are like that in spite of her not because of her. Do you really think they wanted to grow up to be a prostitution whore like their mother?”
A fan explained to Laurita, “If someone spilled a pitcher of water all over me I’d pull their weave,” adding, “honey your daughter was a spoiled brat and did that with no reason.”
Laurita justified her daughter’s actions, stating, “She was told by someone there that [Danielle Staub] hit me. So if you would hit someone that poured water on you im sure you would go after someone that hit your mother,” according to Page Six.
If you recall, during the show's second season, Staub took Laurita’s then-teen daughter, Ashley Holmes, to court in 2010 after she pulled Staub’s hair.
