Lisa Rinna Claps Back At Online Troll Who Blamed Her For Daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin’s Anorexia!

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna fired back at a online troll who blamed her for her daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin’s struggle with her battle with anorexia.

“This makes me wonder if this is how her daughter started her eating disorder with seeing mom this weight and thinking this is normal?” a social media user commented on a video of Rinna looking slim while dancing in a black leotard on Sunday, June 9, according to Us Weekly.

Rinna shut down the user, replying, “You are body shaming me. You are the problem.”

Amelia, the youngest daughter of Rinna and Harry Hamlin, first revealed she had an eating disorder in March 2018 via her Instagram page.

More recently, the model, who turns 18 on Thursday, June 13, made headlines for lashing out at her father during a family barbeque on the June 4 episode of the Bravo hit reality series RHOBH. Before the show aired, Amelia took to her Instagram Stories to offer an explanation for viewers.

“Tonight on the housewives you will see how my eating disorder affected myself and my family. There is a scene where I am EXTREMELY rude to my dad and the food he wants me to eat,” she began on her Instagram Story, according to Us Weekly. “During that time, one year ago — I was not in a good place at all. I may have looked like I was recovered, but I was most definitely not. Within the scene you will see me lashing out due to my fear of food. The person displayed in tonight’s episode is not the person I am. It was the person anorexia made me.”

After a troll told Amelia that she doesn’t “look anorexic,” the teenager added that “there is not just one type” of eating disorder or body type.

“Sadly — I feel the need to remind people what anorexia looks like,” she wrote after sharing two photos of herself at different sizes amid her struggle. “In both photos I was struggling equally as much as the other. Please understand the illness before speaking on it.”
