Love B. Scott is reporting that Shamari DeVoe has lost her peach and has been demoted to a "friend" role for the upcoming new season.
Straight from the A claims that the singer "wasn't surprised" but apparently her husband, Ronnie DeVoe "was not pleased." The site claims that Ronnie considers Shamari's demotion "an insult to his wife."
A few days ago, Hampton hinted that DeVoe lost her peach during a recent live feed via her Instagram Stories. "Shamari, come on now you’re peachless. You’re really still up here tweeting tonight? Peachless Shamari still tweeting. Hey girl. Stay a fan, just be a fan now. Be sweet. You’re peachless now. They’ll give you a peach and snatch it right back won’t they?," she said.
As for the rest of the cast, sources reveal to Love B. Scott that producers were initially ‘on the fence’ about Eva Marcille’s return, but apparently she will be returning as a full-time cast member.
Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, NeNe Leakes, and Porsha Williams are also expected to return along with Marlo Hampton and Tanya Sam. The website also claims that Kenya Moore is quietly negotiating with Bravo for her return to the series.
Love B. Scott is also reporting NeNe is pushing for Phaedra Parks to return to the series. The original Georgia peach has been vocal of wanting Parks to return to RHOA.
However, Burruss has made it clear that if Parks returns to the show - she will quit the series. Due to Kandi's popularity on the show and the fact that her RHOA spin-offs were the highest rated within the franchise Bravo is allegedly reconsidering it - making Parks' chances to return to be "unlikely."
Meanwhile, another outlet is claiming that Kenya Moore has got her peach back for Season 12. According to Straight from the A, Moore's Season 11 finale drama with Leakes was the reason she secured her peach - thanks to her "alliances" with Burruss and Bailey.
While other outlets report that Moore is in "negotiations," Straight from the A claims that is not true since Moore has "her peach for Season 12. Period."
Meanwhile, Radar Online reports that Moore is returning to the series and that Leakes is "going to be furious" about it. "NeNe signed her contract for next season . She’ll be there for filming, but she is not going to like it," an insider told the outlet.
"Kenya has a meeting with Bravo execs to talk about coming back to the show," said the source. "Kenya will likely be offered a friend role and if she delivers, she could get promoted to a full-time housewife."
While Kenya tried to keep her personal life private in Season 10, sources reveal that she has to be open about filming with her husband this time around.
"Kenya has to film with Marc, that’s going to be the sticking point,” said the source. "She can’t hide anything this time. She has to share her life as a wife, since she finally is one," the insider revealed.
"If Kenya really participates and doesn’t storm off and refuse to film, she could likely increase her role on the show," the source continued. "Kenya has been telling people she’s definitely coming back, but nothing is set in stone yet and a contract hasn’t been signed"
"RHOA ratings were really good this season and maybe Kenya could make them even higher," the insider revealed to Radar Online.
