Apparently there was drama even before filming began. Kenya Moore and Kim Fields had "separate dressing rooms on opposite sides," an insider told Radar Online. "There was extra security to keep things in order."
From the start, Fields "tore into Kenya for bringing up rumors Chris (Morgan) is gay. They have a family and Kenya's words have done a lot of damage," the source said.
Moore recently confronted Fields on the show, according to the source: "She said she didn't think the cast really cared either way if her husband were gay or whether or not they were having tax problems or any other kind of problems."
Phaedra Parks opened up about taking her two sons, Dylan, 2, and Ayden, 5, to visit estranged husband, Apollo at Fort Dix prison, the source said.
Going to visit Apollo, in prison "was the last thing she wanted to do with the boys," the source revealed. "Phaedra wants the boys to have a relationship with their father, but going to the prison was more than she could handle. Ayden is asking when they can go back to see Apollo."
NeNe Leakes "was there for the reunion, but her involvement was uncertain until the last minute," said the source. Leakes "brought her own hair and make-up team," the source claimed. "Bravo had to pay for all of it."
Cynthia Bailey's marriage was also a hot topic for the ladies. Earlier in the season, Bailey, 48, admitted to no longer being attracted to her husband.
"There was speculation Cynthia would finally leave Peter once the reunion was over," the source said. "Cynthia is tired of having her marriage play out on national television."
The reunion will "run over a three week period. RHOA is the ratings blockbuster for Bravo, and the network will milk it for everything it's worth."
