Kyle Richards: 'Brandi Came In And Seemed To Be Uncomfortable And Looking For Trouble'

Kyle Richards is taking to her Bravo Blog to dish on this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Kyle welcomes the new Housewives and says Brandi had no reason to feel uncomfortable at the White Party. Kyle writes:

"We are back! I can't believe this is the fifth season. This is going to be an exciting , fun-filled season with all the craziness that comes with life's ups and downs.

Writing these blogs can be challenging, because so much has happened since this was filmed, and relationships have changed. We are supposed to write about how we were feeling at that time. However, sometimes that can be difficult when certain relationships have taken a turn for the worse or since been repaired. I will do my best to be objective.

We start out this first episode with the planning of the White Party. This has become a tradition for our family. We didn't do the White Party last year, because we had Sophia's bat mitzvah around the same time we usually do the White Party.

For the first White Party we ever had, my close girlfriends helped me out, and it was a "do it yourself " event. From going down to the flower mart and making the flower arrangements ourselves to making our own backdrop for our wannabe photo booth. These days I get help from my party planner, Glenn Schneider of West Coast Events. Each year the party has grown. We used to have around 100 people, and now it's about 300.

In the episode I said it was the party of the year that everyone wants to come to. Certainly there are bigger, more glamorous parties than my White Party. I meant compared to what the party used to be and that people in town know it's in June and will start asking about it, as well as asking to bring friends. I think people look forward to it, because it feels like summer is finally here.

It was funny to see Yolanda discovering the guy who had set up shop on her property. Too funny. It was sweet that she let him stay and wished him success. Yolanda and I are both preparing for our girls to leave for college soon, and I am terrified.

Lisa and I picked up where we left off last year. I reached out to Lisa and asked her to meet with me. Lisa and I had always been close. In the past couple of years, we have had our moments and a lot of obstacles to work through. However, life is too short, and I wanted to talk it out and be able to start from scratch. I missed the days of us just laughing and having fun. I wanted to get to a strong enough place where we wouldn't go backwards again or let outside negativity influence our friendship. I think that in order to do that you have to have these conversations. Brushing it under the carpet and just "moving on" is always a temporary solution.

I am so happy to have Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson join us this season. I've known Lisa Rinna for years, and it's fun to have her be a part of this. Eileen and I met during a guest spot I did on Days Of Our Lives. I think you will enjoy getting to know both of these great women.

It was great seeing Lisa R. with her kids and Harry. There's nothing I love more than seeing a home filled with love and happy chaos. Lisa was a lot more calm than I would have been if Mauricio brought in a baby rattlesnake. I found myself wanting to yell. "The babies are the most poisonous, Harry!" Lisa and I only live a few minutes apart, and we also find scary little visitors in our yard!

It's finally time for the White Party. I was excited to have everyone in our home and kick off summer. It was so nice to have Adrienne, Camille, and Taylor there. Everyone was in a great mood and ready to have fun. Although some of the women weren't on the best of terms, it seemed everyone was willing to put it aside for the night.

Brandi came in and seemed to be uncomfortable and looking for trouble from the get go. She was invited like everyone else and had no reason to feel unwelcome or that the women were "mean girls." I think considering everything that has happened, everyone was being nice and just trying to enjoy their night.

I am glad that Brandi and Adrienne are planning to meet up and talk. This is something that should have happened a long time ago.

Overall it was a great night. We danced and laughed until 4 AM, and nobody got into an argument. Yay!

Thank you for tuning in. I look forward to sharing our lives with you."
