Andy Cohen Opens Up About The Future Of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey!

With Teresa Giudice set to report for her prison sentence next January, she'll be out of the public eye—and away from the cameras—for 15 months and the state of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been in question. Now Executive Producer, Andy Cohen has opened up about the future of the Bravo series.

"We have not made any plans relating to the future of the Jersey Housewives," Cohen said during a Reddit AMA session. "The final reunion is airing tonight, and we'll go back and meet and talk and re-evaluate soon."

Whatever the fate of the franchise, the executive producer revealed that he definitely enjoys collaborating with Teresa. When asked by one fan who is the easiest Housewife to work with, he said, "There are many that are easy. I mean, there are a whole lot that are easy to work with, actually! I'd have to say Teresa, for all she's been through, has been very professional and easy to work with."

But that's not to say this past season hasn't been without its hurdles. "What's happening now with Teresa and Joe, was challenging and unusual and just—you know—surprising. But I don't think that it's fair to say that there have been tragedies that have been associated with other people's pursuit of fame," he said. "In other words, Teresa and Joe are being prosecuted for something that happened before they were even on the show."
